An angry Crystal Palace fan was clearly more incensed than anyone by Christian Benteke winning a penalty for Liverpool on Sunday.

There was real controversy in the final minutes of the match as Benteke was brought down by Damien Delaney.

The Belgian striker then stroked the ball home to give the Reds a much-needed victory against the Eagles.

And while pictures seemed to prove that the Belgian striker did NOT in fact dive, Palace fans were still enraged by the decision.

So what’s the best course of action when you’re really angry about a decision in football?

That’s right, it’s to make a petition!

Palace fan Adam Greeves has made a petition that he hopes will make a difference.

Greeves wants Benteke to be banned for a ‘number of games‘ and for Liverpool to be fined six points ‘at a minimum’.

He hopes that the FA will take a serious look into the decision.

We’re sure they will, Adam.

At the time of writing, the petition, created on change.org, had been signed by 74 people in four hours.
