Seedorf spent a year-and-a-half at Botafogo prior to his retirement, winning the Campeonato Carioca in 2013, and can speak Portuguese.
The 39-year-old decided to hang up his boots in 2014, after winning two Eredivisie titles, four Champions Leagues, La Liga and two Serie A titles.
