In an attempt at greater transparency and to put the El Mundo comments to rest, Cristiano Ronaldo published his tax documents of what he declared abroad in 2015, sharing the Gestifute company’s specific 720 form meant to clarify the situation.
Gestifute is the company that represent Ronaldo, and since El Mundo’s accusations, they have maintained that neither they nor the player have done anything wrong.
Gestifute state the following:
Cristiano Ronaldo is up to date with his tax obligations since the beginning of his career, in all the countries in which he’s lived. This document [720 form] has not been shared out of obligation, but voluntarily. It consists of irrefutable proof that the player and the agency are acting in good faith, collaborating with the authorities in the spirit of transparency and the law.
