Premier League clubs have been ordered by Congress not to register more than 30 players all risk facing sanctions.
This was disclosed to congressmen by the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kwesi Nyantakyi during the Annual General Meeting at the Ghanaman Soccer School of Excellence.
The 30 players who will be registered for the 2014/2015 season will be actively involved in the First Capital Plus Premier League, the MTN FA Cup and the ongoing Elite Cup.
“This is a congress order and we hope that the clubs will adhere to this new rule, we want all premier league clubs to register at most 30 players.
“We want to keep track of all these players and hope that things are done in an efficient manner”.
