President of the Ghana Football Association (GAF), Kwesi Nyantakyi has confirmed that owner of Berekum Chelsea, who also double as an Executive Committee member of the GFA has been excused from Exco meetings on health grounds.
Emmanuel Kyeremah who was reported to have been cooling off in Canada failed to attend Exco meetings for the year 2014.
His absence which was never explained caused unsubstantiated allegations with pundits casting slur on the hard fought image of the business tycoon.
But explaining the reasons for his absence, Nyantakyi said Emmanuel Kyeremah was excused from Exco meetings on health grounds and he is likely to be present during Exco meetings in the near future.
“We excused Emmanuel Kyeremah of Berekum Chelsea on health grounds, his health has improved and we are hoping he will be back soon during Exco meetings”. Nyantakyi stated.
