Clottey in talks with Kotoko

Former Black Stars striker Emmanuel Clottey is in advanced talks with reigning Ghanaian Premier League champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The former Berekum Chelsea and Esperance striker is expected to sign a one year contract with the porcupine warriors ahead of the commencement of the 2014/2015 Ghana Premier league season and the CAF Champions League.
Clottey who made the headlines in the 2012 CAF Champions league for his goal scoring feet will be an additional quality to the Kumasi Asante Kotoko team if the two parties can reach an agreement.

The defending league and FA Cup Champions begun preparations on Monday January 5 and are expected to sharpen the rough edges of the team ahead of the commencement of the First Capital Plus Premier League and the CAF Champions League.
