Ghana winger Andre Ayew worked separately with Olympique Marseille’s physiotherapist Jérôme Palestri on Sunday as he continued his push for full-fitness.
Ayew suffered a groin strain while on international duty with the Black Stars during the 1-0 defeat to Uganda last month in a penultimate 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
The 24-year-old, who was expected to spend at least three weeks in the treatment, is making progress.
Ayew could be passed fit for Tuesday’s trip to face Lorient.
He has missed Marseille’s last two matches against Bordeaux and Nantes.
