The Black Stars of Ghana are in Congo camping and training ahead of their highly anticipated 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Group H qualifier this Saturday.
The Black Stars beat Congo 3-2 in a friendly Tuesday and are poised to continue their fine form during the qualifier.
Rwanda captain Haruna Niyonzima is confident the Amavubi have what it takes to overcome Ghana when the two sides lock horns at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.
“We have been training hard ahead of this match. We have worked on both defence and scoring goals and we believe we can pull off a positive result against what I think is the best team in Africa at the moment,” the Young Africans midfielder told Times Sport on Monday.
The other teams in Group H, Mozambique and Mauritius, will play on Sunday.
The 2017 afcon finals will be held in Gabon.
