Ghana assistant coach Maxwell Konadu led a team of technicians from the national team to attend the inaugural edition of the G6 GHALCA tournament which took place in Sekondi.
The official said his mission was to detect young talent that could be subsequently invited to the Black Stars main team or home based.
The competition involved six teams from the Ghana Premier League, including Asante Kotoko, Ashantigold, Berekum Chelsea, Aduana Stars, Medeama SC and Hearts of Oak.
The tournament ended on Sunday with the final won by Kotoko 1-0 over Aduana Stars.
Konadu said a complete report on the players spotted would be prepared and submitted for use in due course.
