New Black Stars physical trainer, Jamie Lawrence, says he is saddened with the fitness of some of the players ahead of the commencement of the African Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.
The fitness of the Black Stars players has continuously been questioned prior to major tournament prompting the GFA to name Jamaican born English Physical instructor Jamie Lawrence to ensure the players are physically ready for the 2015 Nations Cup.
The ex Leicester and Sunderland player in an exclusive interview with sportcrusader.com says although he was pleased with the physical condition of some of the players others will need to up their condition and fitness before the competition starts in January.
“It has been a good experience for me personally and am ready for the task ahead, Jamie Lawrence toldsportscrusader.com.
“The players are doing their maximum best but I think that some of them will have to up their condition, it is not even up to satisfactory”.
