Black Stars coach Avram Grant has expressed his excitement in watching the Ghana Premier League and has promised to continue to do it.
The head coach of the senior national team of Ghana in an interview with Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Saani Daara said he will be watching the top of the table clash between Wa All Stars and Hearts of Oak before going to another two games over the weekend.
Avram Grant said in the interview:
“I will be at the game [Wa All Stars vs Hearts of Oak]. I will be at more games [Ghana Premier League] over the weekend.
“It is very exciting for me to see the local league. I enjoy it very much. I travel to a lot of places in Ghana. The welcome of the people is very nice and I will continue to do it.”
The former Chelsea boss also did not rule out monitoring players abroad saying they are Ghanaian and he will continue to mix the players.
“Also we don’t need to forget the players that play abroad. They are Ghanaian and they are ready to give everything for Ghanaians so I will continue to mix between these two,” Avram Grant added.
The manager was however cunning and made sure not to make a prediction on who wins or who loses in the Ghana Premier League this weekend saying:
“I hope the football will win.”
