Black Stars to begin camping at Lizzy Sports Complex

Ghana’s senior male national football team, the Black Stars, are set to begin camping at the Lizzy Sports Complex in Accra ahead of the 2015 African Cup of Nations to be staged in Equatorial Guinea.
The team will camp for two days, starting from Thursday January 1 to Saturday January 3, 2015.
It is yet to be established if Coach Avram Grant will prune down his 31 man squad to 23 during the two day training session with the Stars.
Last week, Avram Grant named a 31 man squad from which he would select the 23 players who will make up the final squad for the tournament.
The Black Stars are expected to leave Accra on Saturday, January 3 and will continue the AFCON preparations in Spain.
Sportscrusader.com can confirm that the new fitness trainer recruited for the Black Stars, Jamie Lawrence was expected to take the players through some exercises during the two day camping in Ghana but that cannot be possible because all the players may not make it to Ghana for the two day camping.
The former Jamaican footballer will therefore begin his work when the team arrives in Spain at the weekend.
The Black Stars will attempt to end a long trophy drought when they participate in the 2015 Cup of Nations which begins on January 17, 2015 in Equatorial Guinea.
The four times African Champions are in Group C, alongside Algeria, Senegal and South Africa.
