Black Queens beat Ivory Coast to reach final

The Black Queens dominated play against their West African counterparts Ivory Coast and crowned it with a lone goal on Tuesday.

Coach Yusif Basigi’s charges, who booked their ticket to the semifinals stage ahead of South Africa through the drawing of lots, this time put up splendid performance on the field of play to reduce their opponents into mere passengers and got the only goal of the game in the first half through Samira Suleman.

They could have even scored more than a goal, but were woeful upfront, after taking the lead.
