Black Princesses thrash Ethiopia to qualify for World Cup

The Black Princesses put up a magnificent performance by thrashing their Ethiopian counterparts 4-0 at the Baba Yara Sports, Kumasi in the second leg of the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s Championship qualifiers.

A brace from both Priscilla Adobea and Sandra Owusu Ansah secured Ghana a place in next year’s championship to be staged in Papua New Guinea.

Ghana made their intentions clear from the blast of the referee’s whistle and their hard work paid off in the 31 minute when Priscilla Adoea put them in the driving seat.

Mas-ud Didi Dramani charges were on the rampage in the second as they banged in three goals through Sandra Owusu Ansah who had a brace and Adobea who scored to register his second goal in the game.

Ghana settled for a 2-2 draw against the Ethiopians 2 weeks ago, so have qualified on 6-2 on aggregate, per the results of the Sunday clash in Kumasi and have qualified for a 4th consecutive time.
