The Black Maidens of Ghana defeated Morocco 4-0 in the African final qualifying round first leg tie in Rabat on Sunday.
The Ghanaians showed an enticing display and were confident as though they were playing at home, opening the scoring as early as the second minute through Mukarama Abdulah.
The goal spree continued as the Maidens maintained domination, powering their lead to 3-0 by the 18th minute through Mary Entoah and Abdulah.
Team captain Sandra Owusu Ansah wrapped it up with a fourth goal by the hour mark.
Both sides will clash in two weeks time for the return leg in Accra, with the winner on aggregate progressing to the final tournament to be hosted by Jordan.
