Ghana defender Abdul Baba Rahman is unhappy with his bench role at Chelsea.
The 21-year-old has played only nine games in all competitions since joining the Blues from German side FC Augsburg last August.
“It’s frustrating to sit in the stands for every footballer,” Baba told Sport Bild.
“I would like to gain experience from here [Chelsea]. As a young player, one must get used to a big club and play in a world class league.
“From my point of view, the first half of the season was quite okay but in the second, I want to play more matches,” he added.
Baba enjoyed 2669 minutes last season in the German Bundesliga but has only played 246 minutes in the English Premier League this campaign.
And despite the departure of Jose Mourinho in December things have not changed for the Ghanaian under new manager Guus Hiddink.
