Ghana and HJK Helsinki defender Gideon Baah has refused to comment on his reported move to Spanish giants Barcelona.
The 24-year-old has been recently linked with a transfer to Camp Nou, with reports suggesting he could provide cover for Sergi Roberto in Barca’s defence following Jordi Alba’s injury and with Adriano pushing for a move to AS Roma.
“I cannot confirm or deny the rumours linking me with a move to Barcelona,” Baah told Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat.
“I want to remain silent on this issue. I leave that to the big boys.
“I now have a contract with HJK, which I respect. It is not at my discretion to stay or not,” he added.
Baah joined Finnish side Honka FC from local giants Asante Kotoko in 2013, before moving to Helsinki a year later.
He was adjudged the best left-back in 2014 Uefa Europa League competition with an index of 7.90, according to Whoscored.com.
