Attuahene tells Hearts fans to fill the stands this season

Chairman of the National Chapters Committee of Accra Hearts of Oak, Barimah Attuahene has tasked the teeming fans of the Club to make it a habit of filling the stands in all of the team’s home matches this season.
Support for the team during matches has taken a nosedive in recent times; an action the NCC Chairman attributes to several factors, one of them being the poor showing of the playing body during past games.
“One thing I know about Hearts of Oak fans is that, if the team is not winning they find it difficult to patronize the home matches and that is only natural, because some of us have done that in the past. But I believe that should change in the coming season. We are all part of the club, good or bad, so it will be in our best interest to make it better by supporting the players and the coaches when the going gets tough”, Attuahene told Sportscrusader.com in an interview.
He revealed that plans are far advanced to remobilize the Chapters of the Club in the coming season, adding that he is also looking to get a sponsorship package for the NCC and the supporters in order to get as many fans as possible to support the team during away matches.
