Great Olympics new manager Godwin Attram has set sights on qualifying the club from Division One back to the Ghana Premier League.
Attram, 32, rejoined Olympics from Europe last campaign alongside veteran goalkeeper Richard Kingson and defender Dan Quaye but the trio failed to help the club to maintain a top-flight status and suffered relegation on final day.
However, Attram has been appointed as a player-coach after the club mutually parted ways with Yaw Acheampong following the expiration of his contract.
The former Ghana midfielder believes he could lead the team back to the Ghana Premier League.
“This has come as a surprise for us all but I am ready to meet the expectations of our numerous supporters,” Attram told the Graphic Sports.
“I have always wanted to help Olympics back to the elite league. That is my main priority for now,” he stressed.
Olympics are currently sixth on the Division One Zone three log with 10 points.
