AshantiGold have recalled their players from the Ghana U23 camp to face defending league champions Asante Kotoko in Sunday’s friendly at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The Miners recorded a double over the Porcupine Warriors in September during the GHALCA Top 4 competition.
Kotoko returned from Accra in midweek after drawing 1-1 with Heart of Lions and a come-from-behind 3-2 win over Inter Allies in Tema.
“We have beaten Kotoko twice on the run recently and trust my boys to repeat the dose,” AshGold CEO Kudjoe Fianoo told Times Sports.
“We are taking the game seriously because we are using it to prepare for our continental assignment.”
