Asante Kotoko progress to next stage of CAF Champions League

Kumasi Asante Kotoko will progress to the next stage of the CAF Champions League without kicking a ball by virtue of the fact that their opponents from Sierra Leone, East End Lions have withdrawn from the competition.
According to the General Secretary of of the Sierra Leonean club, Abdul Rahman Davies, Kotoko’s opponent East End Lions have officially dropped out of the CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE due to lack of footballing activities for close to eight months now.
Kotoko after confirmation from CAF will automatically progress to the next stage of the competition with either St Georges or El Eguma their opponents.
