Aduana Stars Public Relations Officer (PRO) Appiah Kubi has revealed to Pulse.com.gh that Romanian tactician Aristica Cioaba is yet to be appointed as coach of the club.
According to Kubi his outfit is still in talks with the Romanian and a contract is yet to be signed by the two parties.
The coaching job of the former Premier League champions is now vacant following the resignation of Nurudeen Amadou last Monday after the club’s back to back loses to Inter Allies and Wa Allstars respectively.
However, reports were rife in the local media that the Dormaa based club has re-appointed Aristica Cioaba who coached the club three-seasons ago but the Public Relations Officer of the club says the deal is not yet done.
“We have not signed Aristica Cioaba, how can you sign a coach who is not in Ghana. But we are still in talks with him and he is expected in Ghana soon,” Kubi told Pulse.com.gh
Aduana Stars will be eyeing for their first point in the ongoing Premier League when they play as guests to Techiman City on match day three.
