Host Bologna were shocked at home by Udinese as they suffer a 2-1 defeat.
The Visitors came from one-goal down to beat the home-side at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.
Ghana midfielder Agyeman Badu was at a top form producing what we call a top class performance – scoring the equaliser for Udinese in the 61st minute to cancel Mounier’s earlier goal in the 31st minute.
Agyeman Badu took advantage of an unpardonable defensive error from Bologna defenders as he beat the offside trap to receive a lobbed through ball from Edenilson and went one-on-one with Mirante who saved his first attempt, but couldn’t do same for the second as Agyemang Badu placed the ball into the back of net.
This was his second consecutive goal for Udinese after the one he scored against AC Milan Last week.
With five more minutes before injury time, Di Natale produced a world-class pass for Agyemang Badu in the penalty area but was unable to hold the ball, however, a Bologna defender on an attempt to clear the ball rather gifted Zapata the score the late winner for Udinese.
It is 2-1 and Udinese has won their first game after losing the last four matches in the Serie A.
The last time they won was against Juventus in the league opener. Today’s win moves them to 13th in the league table. They face Genoa at home on 4th October.
