Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini has given the green-light for talks to open for the signing of Ghana star winger Andre Ayew and the Serie A giants have began the process.
Ayew, 24, will have his current Olympique Marseille contract run out in 2015 summer and Les Olympians have resorted to putting him on sale next month to avoid losing him for free.
Serie A duo Napoli and AC Milan made unsuccessful attempts to sign him last summer and now Inter Milan have entered into the race.
New Inter manager Mancini has watched the exciting winger and has sanctioned the club’s bid to acquire him from Marseille.
According to reports in Italy, Inter officials met the player’s agent during the week and talks have began over personal terms.
Inter are willing to splash 15 million Euros to sign him from Marseille.
