President of the Ghana Tennis Federation (GTF), Justice Ernest Yao Obimpe has been named as one of the 12 High court judges who have been implicated in the damning video footage of corruption within the ranks of the judiciary by ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
The Accra High Court Judge took over as president of the federation from Enoch Amartey beginning of the year.
Meanwhile, the GTF president is said to have collapsed upon hearing that he has been fingered in the corruption exposé. Justice Obimpeh is currently on admission at the Nyaho Clinic in Accra.
Reports say he is responding to treatment well.
The Disciplinary Committee of the judicial service set up by the Chief Justice to investigate the matter will from this morning begin work to establish whether there is a prima facie case against the Judges concerned.
A total of thirty-four judges face impeachment in the coming weeks as the exposé about to hit Ghana entangles them in the damning corruption scandal.
