The marksman for the Tarkwa lads, Akwesi Donsu has stated that the team is finding it difficult to participate effectively in both domestic and continental football at the same time.
Medeama SC is the remaining Ghanaian club in Africa Inter Club Competitions this year and have made the nation proud by reaching the group phase of the CAF Confederation Cup.
On Sunday the Yellow and Mauves side produced an incredible victory against four times champions of Africa T.P Mazembe to keep their hopes of a place in the semi-finals alive.
Kwesi Donsu, the man whose goal gave Medeama a late winner against the Congolese giants, has admitted that combine the domestic and continental football is a difficult thing.
“We are really finding things difficult because we have to play both the Ghana Premier League and the CAF Confederation Cup,” he told Nhyira FM.
Medeama have an away league game against Bechem United on Wednesday before they travel to Algeria on Thursday to face M.O Bejaia in their last group A Clash.
The club in order to have enough rest applied for their league game to be postponed, however, the GFA refused to grant their request.
