Dreams FC coach CK Akunnor says he is satisfied with his side’s pre-season performance ahead of the Ghana Premier League campaign scheduled to kick off on February 20.
The Kweiman-based club shared the spoils 0-0 with Wafa in a friendly on Thursday.
“I think for the first time I’m satisfied with the way we played but our biggest worry is how to put the ball in the net,” Akonnor told the club’s website.
“In terms of possession [against Wafa in their friendly], we played with a team that is very familiar with the ground. They know themselves well and everyone saw in their play but my team kept their composure and also exhibited some delightful football.
“It is a very big plus for us because any team could have lost the game against Wafa within the first 20 minutes. We could have lost 3-0 but I think we were much disciplined,” he added.
Dreams FC will play their debut league game against Ebusua Dwarfs at the Cape Coast stadium on February 21 before hosting Bechem United at the Dawu Park.
They will face Inter Allies away at the Tema Sports Stadium on Match day three.
