Ashgold skipper, Lawrence Lartey is on the verge of joining Ajax Cape Town as he has started training with the PSL side.
The 22 year old defender who won the 2014/15 Ghana premier league with the Miners arrived in Cape Town last Wednesday and has officially started training with the PSL side over a possible move.
Ajax Cape Town on their official website, confirmed that the 2013 U-20 world championship bronze winner has started training with the club.
“Young talented Ghanaian defender, Lawrence Lartey, has started training with our PSL side this week after much speculation regarding his arrival at Ikamwa. He will feature in a training match at Ikamwa against NFD today.”
If a deal is reached , Lartey will be joining the Cape Town based club as a free agent after his contract with Ashgold expired at the end of the 2014/15 league season in Ghana.
