Al Hilal defender Abeiku Ainoosen believes his former club Asante Kotoko will win the 2015-16 Ghana Premier League despite the departure of several first team players.
“I think that a lot the players in the team have what it takes to win the Ghana Premier League back after losing it to Ashantigold last season.” Ainooson told Ghanasoocernet.
“I played with them and I know some players especially Dauda [Mohammed] will improve a lot next season than they were the previous season,” he added.
Dauda Mohammed, 18, became the club’s second top scorer behind Amed Toure after netting eight goals and is aiming to become the league’s top scorer next season.
Kotoko failed to defend their league title last season, finishing second to regional rivals Ashantigold.
