Ghana striker David Accam is not on the verge of joining Russian giants CSKA Moscow, his agent Phil Radley has revealed.
The Sweden-based striker was heavily linked with a move to CSKA Moscow last week thanks to his explosive form for Helsingborgs.
Accam has confirmed that he will leave the Swedish club in January when the transfer window opens with several club reported to be interested in the Ghanaian.
Despite the reported interest from several clubs, CSKA Moscow is not one of the clubs his agent has spoken to.
“I have not talked to CSKA at all,” Radley told Fotbolltransfers.
Accam is on his way out of Swedish side Helsingborgs IF after a successful season in which he bagged 17 goals in 25 appearances.
