Aduana Stars vow to beat Kotoko in league opener

One of the top liners of match day one of the First Capital Plus premier league this season will be the match involving defending league champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Aduana Stars.
The two clubs have become fierce rivals over the last couple of seasons and that traditions is set to continue in the first week of the 2014/2015 league campaign which start on January 18, 2015.
Aduana coach, Kwabena Ameyaw is already looking forward to that crunch encounter and has promised to underline his coaching credentials on the day.
Kotoko will travel to the Dormaa Park in match day one and will hope they can set the tone for a good title defense, but this according to the new Aduana Stars coach will not happen as his side prepares to grab all three points in that game.
“Matches against Kotoko are always difficult no matter the occasion and I believe they will be coming strongly at us in that game so we are preparing very well”.
“We respect them, no doubt, but we feel that it is about time some of us, the so called smaller clubs give our senior teams a revision of notes and I see our game against Kotoko as a great start for our new season”, coach Kwabena Ameyaw mentioned in an interview with
