Aduana CEO coy ahead of Kotoko clash

Ahead of the start of the First Capital Plus Premier League, the Chief Executive Officer of Aduana Stars Football Club, Mr. Albert Commey has refused to indicate whether his Dormaa based side is ready to give Ghana League Champions, Asante Kotoko a shock in their opening game of the 2014/15 league at home in Dormaa.

In an interview with sportscrusader.com, Mr. Albert Commey disclosed that he will want his side to surprise the Porcupine Warriors than to give them a gist of what to expect on Sunday.

“Kumasi Asante Kotoko is a very good side and there is no doubt about that. For a side that is preparing to stage African Club competition, you can’t take anything against them but we wish to keep our plans to ourselves. The field will decide”, Mr. Commey said.

“Our encounters with Kotoko have always proved difficult but we shall make our fans proud on Sunday. We have a special package for Kotoko but we can’t spill the bean now. Football is a three dimensional game. You win, lose or draw. We will not promise anything but we shall make our fans proud”, he added.

The two sides will be meeting in the opening game of the Ghana Premier League for the second time in two terms as they clashed in the opening games of the 2013/14 league season which the Porcupine Warriors won by 2-1 in Sunyani.
