AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has insisted that Paris Saint-Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic will always be welcome at the San Siro.
The 33-year-old enjoyed a hugely successful spell with the Serie A outfit between 2010 and 2012, before leaving the club for PSG.
Ibrahimovic has been heavily linked with a return to Milan this summer, though, and Berlusconi has made it clear they will always have room for the Sweden international if he wants a comeback.
“We will welcome Ibrahimovic with open arms if he wants to return to Milan,” Berlusconi was quoted as saying by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
However, the striker’s current deal with PSG runs until June 2016 and the Ligue 1 champions have so far been adamant that they have no intention of letting go of the star.
Milan have already brought in Carlos Bacca and Luiz Adriano to strengthen their front line this summer, with midfielders Alessandro Bertolacci and Jose Mauri and defender Alessio Romagnoli also signed.
