There are reports in Italy that AC Milan are in advanced talks with Juve Stabia to sign Ghanaian teenager Evans Osei.
But the player’s agent Oliver Arthur is not immediately available for comments.
The transfer rumour, a running theme in the Italian press, widely speculated that Napoli and Genoa failed in earlier attempts for the player because Milan stepped in with a cash-plus-player deal which the Serie C side accepted.
It is understood Milan will meet Juve Stabia’s € 500,000 valuation of the 17-year old and add a youngster to the deal as a bonus.
The reports added that the deal is in the final stages and the clubs can achieve a breakthrough in the next few days.
That is a sudden breakthrough for the future of Osei, who has impressed and shown remarkable ability to succeed at the highest level while playing for Juve Stabia in Pro League, the third-tier of Italian football.
